To meet this challenge, we have support from the expertise in the field that deepwater basins represent substantial volumes of oil and gas and due to this fact the oil companies will continue their effort to explore new fields subsea. To enable oil companies to reach their objectives, Increasing amounts of the production equipment have to be installed on the seabed to lift oil and gas. The offshore industry has therefore taken on the challenge to develop and follow the clients down to water depth up to 3,000m and beyond.   

BMS Davinci has its out spring from a long industrial history and is based in the South West part of Norway. We are closely connected to the Oil and Marine industry. Our staff technical competence has had focus on the development of lifting and marine equipment. Being part of an Industry cluster at Bryne, Norway with product history dating back to 1864 sets the tone for long endurance, and continuous growth and development. The synergic effects of both history and growth in one of the most demanding markets - the North Sea;  gives BMS Davinci a cutting edge knowledge we are able to share within our excellent product range. There is such a wide variety of tasks in offshore lifting. Based on the forecasting of the expenditure in the global subsea sector, it is expecting an increase of close to 75% for the period 2009 through to 2013. Analysts' predicts an increase in spending on the global subsea market , even with a global recession. The numbers of wells are predicted to grow which again will increase in demand from the oil and gas business. This will, in our view, again be reflected in the use of subsea equipment for  drilling and completion of fields at the seabed.

BMS Davinci has, as a company, defined a clear strategy to use our skills in supporting companies in the Launch and Recovery operation on deck securing a safe deployment of equipment to and from the sea.

The clear objective for us is to represent a Mechatronic specialist. We have taken on the ambition to handle everything that is spooled on reels on deck or subsea. From the smallest Crane or Utility Winch to the bigger Umbilical cable systems. We are through our core competency able to present both all electric atex, and standard marine solutions. As a historical specialist in Winches and marine equipment we have expanded our core competence and adapting our products to the new demands within the industry. BMS Davinci has throughout the last decade developed the business and is now approaching the market of LAR systems with innovative solutions. We are supporting our clients strive to reach new fields. We do see us as an innovative force to support Clients in developing new technology for operations in both shallow and deep waters. Throughout 2010 we are further developing our Umbilical Winches and systems and now also looking at an exiting new solution on the TMS unit. This is expected to enable operators to work on ultra depths beyond 2500 meters and expanding the working radius of the ROV. Supported by our first class subsea Tie in winches we are expanding our product portfolio in this field and becoming an interesting player and supplier of the innovative Umbilical Winches together with a diversity of winch systems to assist clients in their work.

 Our product line features all electric and El/Hydraulic Winches,  Umbilical handling systems, levelwinds, remote operated  launch/recovery systems,   overboarding sheaves,  hydraulic power systems, and other related products.

The latest development has been to offer a fully electrical powered systems. The new electrical systems represent a great HMS improved system along with improved accuracy sought by the deep sea operations. We do know that both the Brazilian market and other new fields developments are especially appreciating these products. We are seeking to introduce our products globally. Being a smaller, but technology driven company, we are seeking challenges together with the right partner and will bring a competitive edge to the relationship.

The designed and built Winches and handling systems comprize both electro-hydraulic and pure electric driven   Winches both with constant tention (CT) and Active heave systems (AHC) also called motion compensated systems for deep water operations. BMS Davinci  products obvoiusly  meet the strictest  certification requirements for the North Sea and thereby globally. This means  Det Norske Veritas (DNV),   American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), Lloyd's Registry of Shipping, the U.S. Coast Guard, or other certifying agencies. We follow design, assembling, and full testing in our spacious Production facilities at Bryne , Norway

The development of subsea winch packages for remotely operated vehicles (ROV) operation, or ROV deployment i.e.  Launch and recovery systems (LARS) have been taken on as our challenge. We are well aware that we are in a highly competitive market, but the Lifetime philosophy and quality of our equipment is unrivalled. Our well known Bryne Winch in the range of 1 - 12 ton represents the best in class and high performance product we have as our core business. We have reflected this competence into the new development of products now offered to the market.
