In a short period of time, Fugro RUE has earned a reputation as a high quality subsea services provider. Having its origins in Norway, the company now operates on a global basis from the main office in Haugesund, Norway, with a strong local presence in strategic and emerging areas such as West Africa, South Asia and Northern Europe.

Fugro RUE provides ROV and diving services, offshore and inshore. The company has the technology and human resources to undertake a wide variety of subsea operations such as:

• Inspection, repair and maintenance
• Construction, installation and decommissioning
• Module handling
• Ship wreck oil recovery and salvage

In addition to diving and ROV services, Fugro RUE provides project engineering in connection with the planning, organization and execution of such subsea projects.

Fugro RUE carry out IMR and construction tasks using ROV, air and saturation diving techniques. Fugro RUE also has wide experience in oil recovery operations, such as oil emptying and emergency offloading from shipwrecks.

Fugro RUE operates several MPSVs and inshore diving/ROV vessels. Our vessels are tailor-made for subsea operations, and are available for charter on the global market. ROV and dive equipment is module based for fast mobilization.

Always moving ahead

Since Fugro RUE was established in 1993 (the company was RUE until 2011), the company has undertaken a wide range of subsea service operations. Today we supply complete offshore diving and ROV operations in addition to inshore and near-shore diving, engineering and vessel operations.

When Fugro RUE was established in 1993, it was as a subcontractor providing inshore/near-shore diving and subsea engineering services.

In 1999 the company was restructured in order do you mean 'to carry out the full range of contractual subsea engineering and operations assignments Since 2000 to date Fugro RUE has been the largest supplier of IMR and construction air diving to Statoil, inshore and near-shore.

Fugro RUE started working offshore West Africa in 2005. The first contract was IMR air diving and topside services for Shell in Nigeria. Since then Fugro RUE has successfully executed subsea service projects in West Africa for clients including, but not limited to, ExxonMobil, Shell, Addax, Perenco and Acergy.

In 2006 Fugro RUE was further developed by strengthening the company equity.  An order was placed for its first new build, the MPSV Atlantis Dweller, which was delivered in 2009. Another MPSV, Viking Forcados, has been operated by Fugro RUE since 2005 and on bareboat to Fugro RUE since 2009.

Fugro RUE has successfully executed various subsea operations and provides a wide range of offshore and inshore services, all conducted with the latest technology and highest quality equipment.

The company has a wide range of equipment within the scope of operations. All equipment is of the highest quality and is maintained by qualified personnel in accordance with our preventive maintenance system. Equipment packages can be assembled according to customer needs in line with requirements.

Fugro RUE owns several high performance state of the art ROVs. These have been developed by world-leading manufacturers. The technology is based upon the latest industrial solutions.

Fugro RUE also owns and operates Air/Nitrox dive spreads and light diving boats (LDB). As a qualified saturation diving operator, Fugro RUE has designed its own saturation system. The company has a dynamic investment scheme for acquiring new dive spreads to meet the growing demand for diving services.
